Listed Cottage Extension

This pretty cottage was in a poor, unimproved state. The glazed rear extension seeks to achieve a clear but subservient separate identity that does not detract from the original structure. The glazing provides good natural light, and makes the most of the outlook to the garden, stream, and rural surroundings. The boarded, lean-to extension is a rework of a previous ancillary structure and provides a side entrance and utility room.
